This is your friendly state chair, writing today to let you know what we have cooking for this upcoming year. This is one of a series of messages I'll be posting, so keep your eyes peeled.
The eyes of the nation will turn to NJ and VA this coming year, as we are the only states with elections. So far, only one team of candidates has declared themselves for the nomination for Governor and Lt Governor, but the year is still young.
In anticipation of multiple candidates asking for the nomination, the State board is working to secure a broadcast partnership with local news sources to allow the whole population of NJ to see and hear our candidates before we party members make our choice at the State Convention.
If you have any interest in running for office, for Governor, Lt Governor or for the Assembly or a local race, follow the link below and start the process.
Since the election, we have already received 7 inquiries of passionate people who want to run for office. Our goal is to have at least 1 person running for Assembly in every Legislative district. Your name could be on the ballot in 2021, all you have to do is reach out to start the process.
Taking the Fight to Trenton
Often we are asked 'What has the party done recently?'
To answer that question, we have established a Political Affairs Committee which is being led by our own Mike Rufo.
The goal of the PA Committee is simple: bring lobbyist pressure to the halls of Trenton to support good bills and help defeat bad bills.
This will take effort and money to accomplish. If you would like to aid with the work, me at the email below.
It is my immense pleasure to work for you as chair of this party, but I and the state board cannot do this alone. We need talented and passionate people like you to get involved and help us save our state from the statists.
Please consider donating your time, or donating you money to help the cause.
If you ever need anything, just let me know.
